Here are some photos of the farm we live on. I like to act like I know all about farming..but I don't. We are a row crop farm. We have cows, but the only thing I have to do with them is to cash the check when they sell. Sometimes I think we should eat one...but my husband gets attached to easily. Easier to sell them and have someone else eat them than have little blackie sitting in our freezer. We have 1 horse. I never see her. My daughter used to ride her in 4H but grew out of that stage in life. The horses' name is Ellie and she is kind of like me..she wonders around on a grassy hill all day eating and pooping. We have no pigs. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats (you will see glimpses of them in my lovely professional photos :) . We had a gerbil but I killed in (on accident). I tried to revive him but their mouths are so tiny. I have killed numerous goldfish (also accidental). Usually by forgetting to take them out of my pond before winter. I would never wish an animal to live at my house. I ran over our cat in the garage several years ago.

Across the road, corn and wheat. The corn is so tall now I can't see out...don't like that feeling! |
A little birdie told me that your eldest daughter wanted SO badly to be in 4-H with that horse but you told her no and she was never able to really get into riding because of it.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, that's just what I heard...
I loooooooove (did I mention LOVE?) the title of your blog!! And animals shouldn't live at my house either. Plants are slowly getting braver.
ReplyDeleteThats funny Kelly. Thank you...cactus are good :)
DeleteDid you read my first reply...I am such a dork. I thought you were my sister in law. She has implied that she really didn't want to read my blog so I was giving her crap!! I am really not that rude to just anyone :) Now I know who you are...Thanks Kelly
